Open Day 2026

On Saturday 6th June, we threw open our doors to celebrate a big moment for the club. Four brand new tennis courts, a new reformer pilates studio, and a coffee lounge — all officially open, and we wanted to mark it properly.

It was open to everyone: friends, family, new members and existing members. And there was plenty going on to keep them busy.

We kicked things off with free coaching sessions for our juniors, followed by a cardio tennis session that pulled in around 28 people — a great turnout and a good sweat for everyone involved. From there we ran an American-style doubles tournament, quick 20-minute rounds with partners changing after each one. It meant everyone got to meet someone new and test themselves against different standards of play. There was a fastest serve competition too, for anyone wanting to see what they could really put on the ball.

Over at The Reformery, our qualified instructors ran taster reformer pilates sessions throughout the day, giving people a first feel for what the new studio has to offer. And once the tennis wrapped up, the coffee lounge and bar were open, with a BBQ to round the day off.

The four new courts more than double what we had before, giving everyone more time on court and less time waiting for a slot. Add The Reformery into the mix and there's now more reason than ever to make a proper day of it — whether you're here to serve, to stretch, or just to sit down with a good coffee after a match.

Thank you to everyone who came along and made the day what it was. It was brilliant to see so many of you there, and even better to welcome new members into the fold.

We've popped some videos from the day up on our social media for you to have a look through — a proper reminder of just how good it was to have everyone together.

See you on the courts.
